Animals vs. Humans.. IT'S ON!

You didn't think mummification was JUST for humans, Did you? Well if you did think that...I just am not going to talk to you, therefore you aren't that smart.. Just kidding. Creatures and human beings have many things familiar with one another. Like for a start off they both take 70 days to make. Also, they both we're buried with things they desired.(Humans with jewels, while animals with their owners) Or they just use them BOTH for decoration...Icky..Very icky.. Even with their similarities they have differences also. Humans are really hard to fake making it like they can't just stuff it with dirt and stuff like that. They also are not bought by anything or sold to people. Unless they are family members. Animals on the other hand are sold to worshipers, "Gifts to God". One last difference is that animals can be faked really simply! Opposites attract; Don't they?(:

What's Goin' On??

Ever wonder what it was like in Ancient Egypt? With all this crazy stuff happening? This mummification stuff could be on purpose, or by accidentally by nature. Which indicates it could be in the extremely FREEZING cold..Burr..or the crazy dryness and heat like in a desert! Oddly enough though, this could happen by chemical reaction. Don't ask me but that sounds weird. The rich snobs of ancient Egypt that were mummified got robbed since they all had their glamorous jewels on them like idiots! And whenever someone died in their family, they traveled across the Nile River to Emballing shops on the west bank where a type of mummification, which varied according to price, was chosen for their death! After about 3,000 years over 70 million, 70 MILLION!!!!!, mummies we're made! Who has THAT much time?

Mummies Are Changing the Way Egyptians lived?

The title literal says it all. People began to be so obsessed with death that they wanted their afterlife to be just as good as,if not better than, life on Earth! What's wrong with Earth? The people that we're so into death began to mummify themselves. Though most of the Egyptians thought it was to symbolize great holiness; I don't think they knew what they were doing most of the time. Just saying. You know those myths about mummies killing humans? Well that is semi-correct. Some mummies have chemicals in the wrapping around their bodies, so if humans touch it, it could make them swim with the fishies. Which sadly means to slowly die. Or some mummies I guess you can say they were cursed. John Wilkes Booth( Haha, funny name!)'s mummy seems to have brought horrible and tragic luck to every person that owned it; they went broke! Who would of known that mummies changed peoples lifestyles.?

Makin' the Mummy!

You may be wonderin' how to make a mummy, or what it takes to make a mummy. I guess I can share it with you. Even if I don't feel like it. Just kidding.(: Well first off, you got to know it literally takes 70 days to make one. Next, you wash the humans in this weird kind of salt called natron. Then, this might be disgusting to hear and all, but they pull the brains out... through the nose then they just throw it out, like a piece of trash. Also, the side of the abodom(whatever that is) is cut open while the Heart & Kidneys are left in place. All the organs are put into these awesome things called Canopic Jars! Day 15 arrives and the drying out the mummy process begins! After that, the body is soon stuffed full with natron salt and covered in it. Weird right? I wouldn't want to waste 40 days for it to dry! Soon to be hold, the mummy gets rubbed with oils and covered in resin to stop it from turning into that yuck, mold.Anyway, did you know that mummies could rap? Well not exactly 'rap' but they can be wrapped in linen cloth. Would you want to be mummified?

Reasons Mummies Were Made

Mummies came from the Arabic word, mumiya.( I am sorry that I do not know how to pronounce that word)..This mummification thing all started when people missed their family members not bein' around to nag on them all the time. Other then that, people wanted to see their oldies from back when. Or they wanted to keep them because some were important family members. Even though the dead can't talk, can they?So why waste money on things that you don't know if anything will happen... Also Egyptians believed that there was a whole other life after the tragic death scene so they wanted to be 'peaceful' in a different world, craazzyyyyyy don't you think? Want to know something disgusting though? People used their OWN family members wrapped in linen cloth as decorations! I mean come on! Who does that? Religious beliefs also mummify their leaders to honor em'. Overall though most people made mummies because people just wanted to be mummified. Simple isn't it? I wouldn't want to be mummified.. It would be creepy to think that many of people from around the WHOLE, wide world would be staring at me..
